Powerful

Being a child of the 80’s, this whole show hit me in different ways. When I first listened to Jagged Little Pill when it was released in the 90’s, those lyrics hit me in a very different way. But now seeing this almost 20 years later, the lyrics have new meaning. It was great to see the lyrics get a story to very difficult subjects that are occurring in our present time. They have always been happening, but now we are talking and fighting for them. Being in a family who had dealt with addiction, some scenes were hard to watch. I really put my head down and cried knowing this happens to many people every day. It also reminded me of a time when I walked into my sister’s house and saw her passed out due to drug use. Overall, it was amazing to see and hear. It was great to see that CD I over played for so many years in my car come to life on stage.

Mediocre at best

First of all, I never like to leave a bad review however, this one I really want to share my thoughts on the show started almost 40 minutes past curtain time without any notification of what the holdup was people just sitting in the audience waiting show was supposed to start at 2 PM. It didn’t get started until 240 at almost 230. Somebody did come on the microphone to say there was a bit of a hold up, very unprofessional in my opinion also, while I was really excited to see the show, I was surprised about the cast probably only two of the cast members I considered to be good singers the others kind of sounded like me singing, which isn’t very good they didn’t do Alanis Morissette justice in this production
